DHPC were instructed to handle a pre-application submission between the applicant and the Local Planning Authority. The scheme sought delivery of 19no. houses and flats on a site located outside the settlement boundary of New Milton, within the setting of a Grade II Listed Building but also within designated Green Belt.
We were able to provide a robust planning argument and justification of the scheme considering adopted policies and housing need. DHPC undertook extensive consultation and pro-active discussions with the Town Council ensuring their information was updated regularly and obtained their support for the submission. Darryl was able to professionally discuss the benefits of the scheme with the Senior Planning Officer, to a point that the Council invited an application to be submitted.
