Erect a large double garage, storage, playroom and personal gym on a site in the Green Belt
EKL Design Ltd.
DHPC applied for a Certificate of Lawfulness for a large outbuilding to be used associated with a dwelling that was positioned in the Green Belt, where planning polices discourage such activity. Darryl used his extensive knowledge of the Permitted Development Order (part of planning legislation) to argue that the structure could be erected using the applicant’s permitted development rights, and the Council had no control over the project. The Local Planning Authority agreed with Darryl’s interpretation of the law and authorised the building.
